Myles and I have traveled back to a couple of periods of time before. And that was thanks to the power of a magic time stone that I had used before. That stone could only be used for three trips through time. So far, we already used up the first two. That means there was only one use left.
"Only one use left..." I said to myself.
Where would we go? And what would happen to the time stone after that?

Myles came on over to hang out.
"Hey, A! How are you doing?" Myles asked.
"I'm fine and dandy, M. And you?" I responded.
"Same here."
"That's good."
I looked on at that stone in my hand and asked Myles,
"What do you say? You think it's time?"
"Time for what?" Myles replied.
"Time for us to go back in time one last time," I reminded him.
"Oh, the time stone! You still have it?" Myles asked.
"I was saving it for one last time exploration for us to partake in."
"Well, then, there's only one thing to do."
We had to decided on a period of time to visit.

With the many different points in time we've been to, it was hard to decide what would be the best to go with.
"Let's go back to the last decade and the turn of the millennium," we decided.
We agreed to do just that and held onto the time stone.
"Okay, this is gonna be the final use, so let's make the most of it," I stated.
"Right," said Myles.
And so, we held onto the stone and it was time for us to enter the vortex that had taken us to the 80's and 90's before. It was still just as trippy as ever and we were not backing down out of this one.
"We're almost there!" said Myles.
"Just a little more!" I added.
And soon enough, we came up to the point in time that was the beginning of the 2000 era. Things were a bit different than they were before.

It was the year 2000 and it seemed like everyone was getting over something.
"Hooray! Hooray! Y2K had never come to be!" someone cheered.
"Y2K...how could we forget?" I wondered.
"A lot of pandemonium over a supposed computer system failure indicating a different year. It was not meant to happen," said Myles.
"I just hope when the time comes in the future, there won't be a Y3K," I hoped.
Something told me it was bound to happen. But that was a long time away. With us in the beginning of this timeline in history, we could see just how our lives were when we were still kids.
"I remember this being when I entered my preteen years," I remembered.

We turned off to my 11th birthday and I had myself a good time.
"Ah, the ol' me I used to be so fond of being," I said as I looked on at myself. Of course, I couldn't let myself see me. It would come off awkward.
"So, that's how you used to look, huh? Nice one," Myles commented.
"I sure do miss those old days. But I'm happy to see the old me again," I stated.
It was only a start in what would be my path to maturity.
"You wanna see your old childhood self, M?" I suggested.
"Do I ever!" said Myles.
And so, we were off to Myles' 10th birthday.

On that birthday, he was there with some of his good friends and his family came by to celebrate.
"10 years and still going on strong," said Myles.
Some music was playing along with his uncle playing in a reunion bit of Earth, Wind and Fire.
"I didn't know your uncle had a reunion with the band he was in," I pointed out.
"There's a lot I kinda forgot in the past myself. Still, it's good to see me in my younger days," said Myles. He looked on and saw the smile on his old self's face. It was a sight he couldn't forget.
"Those were the days," we thought to one another.

We also realized something. Since we were both members of DeviantArt, we were on the year that the site was first launched.
"The site's launch day!" we realized.
Since the site was still new and we didn't know a thing about it until we were older down the road, we had to see what the site looked like back when it was getting started. With that, we traveled back to its launch day. August 8th, 2000. The site was launched. Of course, we had to find a computer that wasn't occupied. There, we found one.
"This is gonna be good," said Myles.
"You said it. It's launching right now!" I exclaimed.
We logged onto the site and there it was. It was there in its original design before we knew it as today.
"Wow...so this is what it was like..." Myles reacted.
"You can say that again," I agreed.
It was very different, and it seemed like when we didn't know about it, we missed out on seeing some great things, but were still happy to have the great things we already had before.
"Good job, old friend," we stated to it. Soon, Dandy Andy and Mylester would be coming along.

Another thing that caught our eyes in that timeline was the launch of some very different TV shows and video game consoles.
"You know, this was around the time that Nintendo started to do things a little differently from what it was known for for the first 15 or so years," I pointed out.
"And some great TV shows were starting off and some other ones we knew were either coming to an end or changing things," said Myles.
The funny thing about it was that the Gamecube's launch title, Luigi's Mansion, was released one day before the Gamecube itself by accident. It was a mishap that a lot of us found humorous and annoying at the same time.
"You know, there is a cartoon that we both know that brought us close together," said Myles.
"How could I forget?" I wondered.
That cartoon in question was Phineas and Ferb. It had been a show we both had fond memories ofand we had never forgotten about it since.
"Never forget that," said Myles.
"Never," I agreed.

We decided to take another look at our childhoods. We took a look at ourselves in middle school, starting with the 6th grade.
"There it is. Middle School. Those times when you're developing out of the younger time line but still training for the higher grades," I mentioned.
"Oh, there's no way I could forget," said Myles.
We looked on at our childhoods. I saw mine going through the same middle school that my sister went to when she was in that time. Myles looked on at his middle school and recalled all of his old friends and all the lessons that he learned.
"You know, while High School was the prime of our teen years, I still consider middle school to be a close favorite," I confessed.
"You do?" Myles asked.
"What can I say? The middle school I went to was kinda fun, and I kinda miss it," I responded. I started to shed a bit of a tear.
"You okay?" Myles asked.
"Don't worry. Just a little emotional there," I told him.

Of course, times soon became tough for America as there was a great war going on. We don't know if that war is still going on today, but one thing was for sure. It was a time when America needed help from another one. One that would show us the light. It became a troubled time for us.
"Those days were pretty scary, huh, buddy?" I asked.
"You know it. But I am happy that there are getting to be less of those now," Myles replied.
The economy may taken a drastic plunge at that time, but we knew that it would rise up again one day.

One thing that I was particularly interested in seeing was that this was also the beginning of the career of a girl that I had taken an interest in. You may know her as I have talked about her before. She was a young actress who had started off small and went onto bigger and more memorable roles. And even through tough times, she was as strong as ever. She started off on the set of Mad TV and said her first line ever,
"You're old!"
I laughed and said,
"And that line will never get that way."
I also heard of a band known as Puffy AmiYumi, or just Puffy in Japan. I remember first hearing their music a few times. Somehow, it was music to my ears.
"What are you listening to, A?" Myles asked.
"You hear this band playing?" I asked him.
Myles was kinda getting into it.
"Yeah! Pretty catchy!" said Myles.
We were listening to their song Planet Tokyo. And there was also a time that this band was something I got so obsessed with. It was a catchy phase.

We watched ourselves mature over the time without interfering.
"Ah, Friday nights. That used to be my favorite time of the week," I announced.
I was watching myself watch Cartoon Network's Friday night block there and enjoying every single moment of it.
"Best Friday Night block ever," I stated.
"I'm sure liking what I'm seeing with the folks," said Myles.
He saw himself with his family out to dinner at one of their favorite restaurants for a big celebration of Myles entering his teen years. He was maturing quite a bit.
"I remember it like it was yesterday," said Myles.
"Come on. Let's go to our high school years," I decided.
"Let's," said Myles.

And so, it was time for us to see one of the more memorable moments of our lives, our high school years. I looked on at my time in those years and remembered most of it.
"Oh, how could I forget? These were the glory days. My friends, my faculty, my fun times," I narrated.
I could see it all. In my high school years, I was still a little bit nervous when it came to making friends, but I did what I could to get to know them better. Some of the classes were challenging, but I knew I could let that get in my way. And there were even clubs dedicated to games. One club was even focus on the Konami dancing game Dance Dance Revolution.
"Still can't believe they had a club for that," I stated.
There was also the time to spend on community service to graduate. I volunteered at the community library.
"Oh, that was a lot of fun. It was quiet, it was close by, and I had a feeling that it was the right choice," I thought.

Myles was looking on at his high school years as well to relive some of those glory days himself.
"There's the old me. Getting ready to tackle a new age of education and make my way to the top," he said.
His time in high school was perhaps the most fun that he could possibly remember. There was nothing like it. He saw his best friends and he took each class to the best as he could, no matter how challenging each following grade was. We were both good students and did what we could in order to make it through these years.
"Yeah. Those were good times," said Myles.

We then both saw our graduation ceremonies and were ready to see us go up there and close the book on such a chapter. It was sad for us to let it all come to an end, but it had to be done. The final chapter of one book came to its end, but the first in a new entry would start up soon enough.
"And so ends one story, and beings another," we announced.
We both celebrated our graduations to the best that we could with our friends. Who knew if there would come a day that we would see them again?

It was soon time to go. But before we left, we saw one last thing: the day we met on DeviantArt.
"There it is. The day we met," said Myles.
"It's been quite a while now, hasn't it?" I thought.
Back when we were into Phineas and Ferb and how it brought us close together, among other things that made us friends.
"Yes. And from then on, we've been great friends," said Myles.
"You said it," I agreed.
It was time. It was time to head back to our own time once again. And it was the last time we went through the vortex back home.

And so, we were right back where we were. The year 2015 and everything was still the same as it was before.
"Well, we made it," said Myles.
"Now, it was our final adventure in time," I recalled.
The stone was shaking a little. And it lost its time magic. Now, it was nothing but an ordinary rock with a clock pattern on it. It was set to midnight.
"I'll never forget you, little stone," I told it.
"It was a great experience for a good three uses," said Myles.
"I know, right?" I agreed.
Even if the stone couldn't take us back in time anymore, it was still nice to have it hanging around.

The stone was put on a shelf with a set of photos that contained memories of our time travel adventures. All three of them.
"These will always be the fondest of memories," said Myles.
"And there's no time like the present to look back on them," I admitted.
And that brought an end to our temporal trilogy. The memories we would have and share will always be in our hearts. Myles and I looked on at the past and were looking forward toward a bright future.

THE END
Congratulations to :iconmylesterlucky7: for making it to 120 appearances in my works. For that, it is time for the last in the time traveling stories with that time stone. This time, we're going back to the final decade before this one where it was around the turn of the millennium. We revisit both our childhoods and some moments that haven been forgotten or brought up a few times. It's the last time we travel back in time.

It's also my gift for our 5th year anniversary of when we first met, so I hope you like it, M. Happy anniversary and 120th appearance.

Wow. A nice story to take a trip back to the new millennium. From high school to watching Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and how we met 5 years ago. How fun! Well done, old friend. And Happy (almost) 5th anniversary, too. Also, I look forward to the countdown to 125 coming up.

Myles

Also, there were some great moments like: "Justice League" premiered in 2001, SpongeBob celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2009, Jeopardy celebrated its 25th anniversary, Wheel of Fortune celebrated its 25th in 2008, Drew Carey took over for Bob Barker in 2007, visiting New York City for the first time during my birthday celebration month in April, I was in 2 plays back in high school, Lakeside Amusement Park celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2008, I graduated from high school and Ellen DeGeneres (who happens to be one of my favorite celebrites on TV) began her own talk show.

How about your favorite moments from your pre-teen experience?
