Good Idea: Putting baking powder in a birthday cake
We see Doofenshmirtz put a bit of baking powder into a birthday cake for Vanessa and give it to her
Doofenshmirtz: Happy birthday, Vanessa!
Vanessa: *eats cake* Thanks, dad.
Bad Idea: Putting itching powder in a birthday cake
Doof puts in itching powder and gives it to Vanessa
Doof: Happy birthday, Vanessa.
Vanessa: *eats and starts itching* This is wrong! *smacks cake into Doof's face*
Doof: *starts itching*

Good Idea: Setting up a scarecrow
Crows fly by and fly away from Doof's corn field
Bad Idea: Setting up a scareskunk
A skunk approaches and gets scared and sprays the field and Doof
Doof: I'm feeling pretty ripe right now

Good Idea: Finding a needle in a haystack.
Doof is looking for a needle and finds it
Doof: *comes out of stack with needle* Found it!
Bad Idea: Finding hay in a needlestack
Doof is looking for some hay in a stack made of needles
Doof: Ouch! Ooh! Ach! Ee! Ow! *comes out with hay and pierced in needles* Found it...*falls into needlestack*

Doof is shaking them hard
Doof: Nice beat.
Bad Idea: Shaking a can of soda
Doof shakes soda cans and Norm opens one hitting Doof with the blast
Norm: Sorry about that, sir!
Doof: It's cool.

Good Idea: Blowing your nose on a piece of tissue
Doof blows his nose on a piece of tissue
Doof: That's better.
Bad Idea: Blowing your nose on your electric bill
Doof blows his nose on his electric bill
Doof: That's better. *sees bill* Uh-oh...
*the power goes out with him in the dark*

Doof is enjoying his ham on rye in a deli
Bad Idea: Eating a ham sandwich at a Bar Mitzvah
Doof is eating a sandwich at Isabella's Bar Mitzvah
Isabella: AHEM!
Doof: What?
Isabella: *lifts Doof up in his chair, spins him around, and drops him*

Good Idea: Sucking on a jawbreaker
Doof is sucking on a jawbreaker in his mouth
Doof: Oh, yeah. That's good stuff.
Bad Idea: Biting into a jawbreaker
Doof chomps on a jawbreaker and breaks his jaw
Doof: *holds up a sign reading "OUCH!"*

Good Idea: Riding a roller coaster
Doof is riding on a roller coaster at an amusement park
Doof: WHEEEE-HEE-HEE-HEEEEE!
Bad Idea: Walking on roller coaster tracks
Doof is on the tracks of a coaster and sees the cars coming, making him run from them
Doof: AAAAAAAAHHHHH!

Good Idea: Going fishing out on the lake
Doof is fishing in a boat with Vanessa on Lake Nose
Doof: Catch anything?
Vanessa: Yep. *catches a really big fish*
Bad Idea: Going fishing at the aquarium
Doof is fishing for sea creatures in an aquarium tank and gets dragged in by a giant octopus
Doof: *through bubbles* HEEEEELP!

Doof drinks some coffee and is wide awake
Doof: Now to start my evil routine!
Bad Idea: Drinking coffee before you go to bed

Some of you may be familiar with the Good Idea Bad Idea segment from Animaniacs. Mr. Bonehead gets himself into all sorts of trouble in the bad idea parts and gets his bony butt handed to him. Well, I decided to make a new age of it. Don't worry, I'm not going to make it anything too modern. These are some I came up with, and Doofenshmirtz shall be our example.
