What if Tour's courses were NOT in the BCP?
As you may have noticed, I have been a little fascinated with how Mario Kart ended Tour and the Booster Course Pass. After all, the latter was created to house the former's courses. It just missed one. Heartthrobber: Some are glad that they're finally over so we can move onto another title in the series, see what the future has in store for it. Nefarion: But you know what? There is something that has been on our minds. While the BCP was created in preserving Tour's courses, can you imagine a reality where the BCP worked differently from that? Emily: Think about it. The BCP still occurring, just not having any of Tour's original courses. They would all be retro courses it used, previously once before or retro debuting. So, today we ask and answer the following question...? What if Tour's courses were NOT in the BCP? For this hypothetical timeline for this DLC event, we will replace all 20 courses from Tour with a different retro track. And I gotta say, with the retro courses that

Emily: Okay, it's now down to the final quarter. We got 12 tracks left. Bunsen: We've got the whole enchilada here, folks. Sit tight as we close in on the number 1 track. Emily: Dad is preparing what's left of the courses. Bunsen: The others have their commentary, both serious and snappy, ready for them all. Okay...break! Final quarter! Hit it! 12 (🎵 You're a...head-banded, sweat-banded, underhanded Ninja Man! 🎶) NINJA HIDEAWAY Here it is. The crowned jewel of Wave 1. The first nitro course of the pass. Ninja Hideaway. Alexis: Yeah. Feels like just yesterday everyone was crapping all over it. Admittedly, it IS without a doubt the weakest wave, but hey, you gotta start somewhere. And Ninja Hideaway really pulls out all the stops with the atmosphere, the music, and the obstacles. Aurora: Oh yeah. It's like you stepped right into the feudal era of Japan and are driving through a mansion of tricks and traps. Emily: But...why the Wario hints? Some of the windows are shaped like

Aurora: And that's the premise of my new series, everybody! What do you think? (Silence) Alexis: You didn't even say anything. Bunsen: Yeah. You just started up this part and said "And that's the premise of my new series." Aurora: Oh. Well, like Andy said in my profile- No time for that now! We gotta start the second half if this ranking! And we're on the B Tier now! Quick! Start it up! B RANK 24 (Achoo: I think it's a monkey wearing lederhosen!) TOUR BERLIN BYWAYS So, kicking off the second half is Berlin Byways all the way from Germany. Aurora: Ooh, I like the sound of kf this beat. Eurotech? Mind Game: It sounded better in Tour. Speaking of Tour, funny thing. This city was actually introduced with its second variant as opposed to its first. And that's exactly how it starts in the pass. First the second, then the third, and finally the first. Emily: Drive around a monument and through a train station with the German word for station on the sign. Mario Kart divulges

Emily: Okay, I think that should be the last one. Phew! I know some people disagree with some things about my ranking, but I just thought Daisy Circuit was just saturating the Wii choices, that's all! Olivia: Well, anyway, here's part 2 of our ranking. 36 (Tiny: Tiny take them back in gladiator arena!) TOUR ROME AVANTI One of the last two city courses Tour would present us...and it's only point higher than Amsterdam Drift. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a nice city and all, but the colosseum is pretty much the only landmark I can recognize without consulting the Mario Wiki. Olivia: And while we would love to mention them all, it would get a little long and bloated for this entry. Alexis: So, we'll just do this play by play. First lap has you doing a mixture of the first variant with a hint of the third. Then lap 2 is the second, and the third is the third. Now, other than the landmarks, I didn't really see much going on with this course. I did like the Chain Chomps in the

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. A truly fascinating and spectacular piece of DLC to grace one of Nintendo's biggest spin-off series. Mario Kart 8 had the most unexpected lifespan. Emily: This game sure didn't want to go down easy, did it? No, Em, it didn't. From humble beginnings, 8 was the Mario Kart that everyone would come to acknowledge as the single biggest selling entry in the series. The Booster Course Pass doubled its library. Some good, some bad. For a 2-year span, we watched all kf these courses from Tour and other past entries migrate over to a new home. And now... it's time. Olivia: We are going to rank every single course in the Booster Course Pass. Andy wanted us all here as an idea of showing that his comeback is still coming with us. Nefarion: You people still need to wait for the big ones, though. This ranking is going to span over 4 parts because, while it has been a coon's age since I did anything big, I'm sure DA still has a limit on literature

Top 10 Courses I Wish the Booster Course Pass Got
With the Booster Course Pass having wrapped up now, I think it's time to do what I think is the most important thing in its honor. I'm going to...talk about courses that I think it should have gotten! Yeah, I do want to rank every course in the pass, even though YouTubers have already done that, but I still wanna give my own opinion on that aspect. But first, I want to touch upon how while it was great, there were some courses that I feel should have graced the pass with their presence. The ones that deserved it more than others. The ones that got...snubbed... So, while the BCP's collection was impressive in some aspects, mostly with the focus on Tour's original courses, some courses from that game were for some reason or an obvious one cast aside in favor of others, and I think it's time I acknowledge 10 of them. It's kinda like how I talked about 10 courses that I think Tour should have gotten, now on the opposite side of the spectrum. The only rule for this is that I must include

15 Mario Kart Tour Ideas
Just recently, I talked about my picks for the 10 courses that I personally thought should have gotten into Mario Kart Tour. They were the courses that I was most surprised not to see make it into the game while more forgettable ones had the honor. And after they recently announced the end of new content and would start redoing previous tours, I looked at the count and saw it went up to... 105 Yeah. That's the number of tours they had. And honestly, I was kinda hoping they'd go a little farther than that. How many should they have done? Personally, I think it would have amusing if they went up to 120 tours in all. Why? Well, that was the usual number for the 3D collectathon titles like 64 and Galaxy. And that means they would need to crank out 15 more tours to reach that number. A number they're never gonna reach now. So, I decided, why not make some of my own tours for it and get up to that number for them? I have here ideas for tours 106-120 if they kept going. Now, I don't

Top 10 Courses Mario Kart Tour Should Have Gotten
Mario Kart Tour. The latest installment in the Mario Kart series. A mobile juggernaut. Whether you love it or hate it, Mario Kart Tour took the franchise in a new angle that had the most diverse yet divisive reputation in the series. Some people enjoyed the new nitros and characters that debuted here, some weren't pleased with the microtransactions, and others just saw it being there. ... I was one of the people in that last one. I'm not much of a mobile guy, but I do see where they were going. Watching gameplay on YouTube allowed me to see what they did and how they managed it. Beats forking over my semi weekly paycheck. And hey, it had a good run. But now, Tour's time is up in terms of new content. Now that Tour's array of new content in each tour has ended, I look back on the selection of courses and think..."Is that really all they could come up with?" Don't get me wrong. While I never played the game myself, I do think the selection is great. Some of these even got into MK8D via
